Communicating Health Needs in Yemen

The World Health Organization in Yemen

Tasked by WHO to design a social media campaign on health marking Yemen’s High-Level Pledging Event, the project was anchored in human interest storytelling—translating complex humanitarian data into relatable visual narratives.

Dynamic photography of affected communities was combined with clean, impactful infographics. Strategic use of the organization’s corporate colors and fonts ensures brand cohesion.

A multi-platform, bilingual content suite was created—including Instagram carousels to spotlight key figures, Facebook posts for local audience engagement, and X threads linking aid to outcomes—guiding viewers to calls-to-action.

The accompanying brochure illustrated Yemen’s health situation in a 4-fold visual summary. Sections were organized by themes with muted background palette to let the infographics stand out.
